East Lake homeowners and contractors lean on Hoopers for commercial demolition contractor because we're close — about 36 miles up the road — and we answer the phone ourselves. Pinellas County is our backyard.
Because we own the trucks and run our own dispatch, scheduling around East Lake HOAs, permit windows, or contractor staging plans is straightforward. If something has to move, you talk to the same person twice.

East Lake FAQs
- Do you charge fuel or environmental fees?
- No. Our pricing is flat-rate. The price quoted on the phone is the price on the invoice — delivery, pickup, dump, and the included tonnage are all built in.
- Where can the container sit on my property in East Lake?
- Most East Lake drops land on the driveway. We use boards to protect concrete and pavers. If your driveway is sloped or shared, we'll walk you through placement when you book.
- Do I need a permit?
- Only if the container has to sit in the right-of-way (street or sidewalk). Driveway placement on private property usually doesn't require one. We'll flag it on the call if it does.
- What can't I put in the dumpster?
- Hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, fuels), tires with rims, batteries, and large appliances containing freon. Everything else is fair game — drywall, lumber, roofing, concrete, soil, furniture.
