The flat rate covers the drop, the rental window, and the included tons. It does not cover a street the truck cannot reach, a city permit you were told to pull, or a load of tires, paint, or batteries. Say those things when you book so the can that shows up is the one that can legally leave.

How the drop works

If the job is still going on day 14, say so before the window ends. The extra-day rate is $10, which is cheaper than a surprise if you wait until the truck is already routed.
A swap is a pickup plus a fresh can on the same visit. Active construction sites use swaps so the crew does not stop. Homeowners usually need one drop and one pickup. If you are a builder with more than one address, ask for an account. One office, one phone number, the same trucks.

Count the debris in pickup loads before you call. Around six loads of mixed remodel trash is the 20-yard. Roofing plus household junk, or a full house cleanout, is the 30-yard. Where the truck will go
The service area is Hernando, Pasco, Citrus, Sumter, Hillsborough, Pinellas, Marion, Polk, and Lake counties. Hernando is the home county, so Brooksville and Spring Hill are the shortest hauls. How the bill is actually calculated

Weight: the landfill scale, not a guess from the rim. A 20-yard that weighs 4.2 tons is 0.7 tons over 3.5. At $55 a ton that overage is $38.50. A 30-yard that weighs 6 tons is 1.5 tons over 4.5, which is $82.50. Mixed household and remodel debris usually stays inside the allowance. Concrete, dirt, and roofing tile are what blow past it. If the pile is mostly those, say so and take the heavy-duty can instead of discovering the overage on the ticket.
The heavy-duty 20-yard is not on the $600 line. It is quoted by the load because a box of concrete can be legal on volume and illegal on the road by weight. Do not fill a standard can with a broken patio and hope the included tons cover it.
What to have ready when you call
The street address, including the city, so the drive from Cortez Boulevard can be judged. A description of the debris in plain words: kitchen cabinets and drywall, a shingle roof, furniture, dirt, concrete. The day you want it set, and whether anyone will be there to point at the spot. A gate code if the truck cannot reach the driveway from the street.
